    Job Description

    OperAxis is hiring Java Developers for active openings supporting JPMorgan Chase across Columbus OH, New York NY, and New Jersey. These are W2 contract to hire roles, onsite five days per week from day one. No remote or hybrid option. You will design, build, and own production Java services that sit at the core of banking platforms. Primary stack is Java and Spring / Spring Boot with REST APIs, relational data stores, and strong production ownership. Relocation is accepted when the candidate confirms the exact target city in advance. This is currently the highest urgency set of openings. Clean profiles only. US Citizen, Green Card, or TN (Canada) authorization required. Bachelor’s degree required. No sponsorship available. Work authorization limited to US Citizen, Green Card, and TN. Candidates must confirm exact work city and onsite commitment before submission.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain Java and Spring based microservices and REST APIs
    • Write secure, tested production code and participate in peer review
    • Investigate production defects through to root cause and deliver durable fixes
    • Collaborate with product, quality, and infrastructure partners across the delivery cycle
    • Contribute to design discussions, estimation, and technical standards
    • Support release readiness and operational stability of the services you own
