Senior .NET / React Developer
Job Description
Tampa General Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Senior .NET / React Developer to join a fast-paced enterprise engineering team focused on modern cloud applications, AI-driven solutions, and data-centric platforms. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in ownership-based environments and enjoys building scalable, responsive front-end applications while collaborating across cloud and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, modern React development, and Azure cloud services. Experience with Databricks, Palantir Foundry, or AI/Agentic development initiatives is highly preferred. This opportunity begins as a 6-month W2 contract with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion based on performance and project needs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience within the .NET ecosystem
- Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience building responsive and scalable front-end applications
- Working knowledge of backend development and RESTful APIs
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services including App Services and Azure Functions
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and software design patterns
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Databricks or Palantir Foundry is highly preferred
- Exposure to AI development or Agentic AI solutions using Microsoft technologies is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern front-end applications using React and JavaScript libraries
- Build and support backend services within Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to integrate enterprise datasets
- Develop scalable and maintainable application architectures
- Participate in peer code reviews and maintain high coding standards
- Manage feature development and small technical projects independently
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance across front-end and backend layers
- Contribute to AI and intelligent automation initiatives leveraging Microsoft technologies
- Communicate technical decisions effectively with stakeholders and leadership
