Maximo Developer (IBM MAS 9 / Java / BIRT)
Job Description
The OperAxis team is seeking Maximo Developers (multiple openings) for a long-term onsite contract in Dallas, TX. You'll work with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance and upgrade IBM Maximo environments, including the move to Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9). The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience across Maximo 7.6.x and MAS 9, a proven track record of Maximo upgrades, and solid development skills in Java, JavaScript and Python. Experience with BIRT reporting, REST APIs and Oracle databases is essential, and candidates must be willing to work fully onsite in Dallas. Duration: long-term contract Requirements • Strong IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) experience • Hands-on experience with Maximo 7.6.x environments • Proven Maximo upgrade experience • Development skills in Java, JavaScript and Python • BIRT reporting experience • Experience with REST APIs and JSON • Oracle 19c+ database experience • Familiarity with Liberty, Eclipse and PuTTY • Experience in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery • Nice to have: Energy & Utilities domain experience and UI automation frameworks • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (USC or Green Card holder only)
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) solutions
- Support and maintain Maximo 7.6.x environments
- Plan and execute Maximo upgrades to MAS 9
- Build customizations using Java, JavaScript and Python
- Design and maintain BIRT reports
- Develop and consume REST APIs and JSON integrations
- Work with Oracle 19c+ databases for Maximo data and performance
- Configure and work within Liberty, Eclipse and related tooling
- Collaborate onsite with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery
