Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Architect

Job Description

This role requires a senior-level architect who has successfully delivered full lifecycle ERP implementations and migration projects, including assessment, architecture, design, implementation, integration strategy, deployment, and post-production support. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, capable of partnering with ServiceNow teams while providing deep architectural expertise, implementation guidance, integration best practices, and operational recommendations around Microsoft Business Central. This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and the ability to drive enterprise-level solution delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central architecture and implementation
• Proven experience leading ERP implementations, migrations, and enterprise transformation initiatives
• Experience working as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Consultant
• Deep understanding of Business Central integrations, workflows, extensions, and operational best practices
• Strong experience across the full software development and implementation lifecycle
• Experience with assessment, solution architecture, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Ability to work in both hands-on technical and strategic leadership capacities
• Experience collaborating with ServiceNow teams or enterprise platform integrations
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills
• Ability to guide technical teams on ERP architecture decisions, implementation approaches, and migration strategies
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments and complex business processes
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a W2 basis without sponsorship now or in the future
• Prior experience integrating Microsoft Business Central with ServiceNow preferred
• Experience within hospitality, enterprise operations, or large-scale distributed organizations preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure integrations, and API-based architecture preferred
• Understanding of ERP modernization and digital transformation initiatives preferred
• Experience with enterprise data migration strategies and system optimization preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation activities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
• Serve as the primary SME for Microsoft Business Central across the project lifecycle
• Drive solution assessments, technical discovery sessions, and architecture planning
• Define scalable ERP integration and migration strategies between Business Central and ServiceNow
• Collaborate closely with ServiceNow architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration alignment
• Provide architectural governance, implementation best practices, and technical recommendations
• Guide teams on Business Central capabilities, constraints, customization strategies, and operational considerations
• Support end-to-end ERP delivery including configuration, development oversight, testing, deployment, and production readiness
• Lead technical troubleshooting, risk mitigation, and issue resolution efforts during implementation and post go-live stabilization
• Provide hands-on support where needed while also operating in a strategic advisory capacity
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, scalability, security, and business objectives
• Assist with production support planning, optimization strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, architecture reviews, and executive-level discussions
• Own the Microsoft Business Central workstream end-to-end
• Operate as both a technical leader and trusted advisor
• Drive solution success from initial assessment through production deployment
