Job Description
We are seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer for a long-term, 100% remote contract open to candidates anywhere in the United States. You will build and maintain data pipelines and data models in Snowflake, helping the team deliver reliable, performant and well-governed data for analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Snowflake data engineering experience, solid SQL skills, and the ability to work independently in a long-term remote engagement. Requirements • Strong hands-on Snowflake data engineering experience • Advanced SQL skills • Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines • Experience with data modeling for analytics • Ability to work 100% remote on a long-term contract • Must be a U.S. Citizen
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data pipelines into Snowflake
- Develop and optimize Snowflake data models, tables and views
- Write and tune complex SQL for performance
- Implement data quality and validation checks
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams on data needs
- Document data flows and processes
- Follow data security and governance best practices
