Cloud Engineer (AWS / Azure / Bedrock)
Job Description
The OperAxis team is hiring a Cloud Engineer in Raleigh, NC (onsite) to build scalable serverless applications across AWS and Azure, including generative AI services. Local candidates only; in-person interview required. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET. What you'll do: - Design and build serverless systems with Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3 and CloudFront - Work with Amazon Connect and identity services such as IAM and Entra ID - Apply generative AI through Bedrock or SageMaker - Organize and document complex technical procedures - Work in an Agile setting (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe) Requirements: - About 4 years with cloud and AWS (Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB and infrastructure as code) and generative AI on Bedrock or SageMaker - About 3 years with Amazon Connect, CloudFront, IAM or Entra ID, and Agile - About 6 years with Python, Node.js or SQL - About 7 years organizing complex technical procedures - Comfort with AI models, AWS, cloud, Lambda, Node.js, Python, RDS and SQL Preferred: - Azure
