Power BI Developer (GCP + BigQuery)

Job Description

Power BI Developer with a strong background in business intelligence, data modeling, and dashboard/report development, along with hands-on experience leveraging GCP services for data integration and analytics. Works closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver impactful insights and reporting solutions. US Citizens only.

Requirements

• • 3–6 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar BI role (required)
• • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.) (required)
• • Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query
• • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• • Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance tuning
• • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and UX principles
• • Strong communication and collaboration skills
• • Experience with other BI/Analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Qlik) preferred
• • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation preferred
• • Understanding of CI/CD practices for BI report deployment preferred
• • US Citizen only; LinkedIn profile required

Responsibilities

• • Integrate enterprise data sources including Corporate Inventory System, Oracle, and PI Historian
• • Automate calculations currently performed manually (trend analysis, Gain/Loss calculations, standard deviation thresholds, abnormal gain/loss patterns)
• • Provide standardized analytics outputs; eliminate reliance on manual spreadsheet processing
• • Deliver Power BI dashboard/reporting solution with automated refresh capability
• • Provide reporting outputs suited for audit and compliance review
• • Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts
