Senior Full Stack Developer (React / Node.js)
Job Description
The OperAxis team is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer for an onsite contract in Woodlawn, MD, supporting a federal agency client. You'll build and maintain accessible, secure web applications across a React front end and Node.js services, working in an Agile, test-driven team. This role is onsite 5 days a week, and only Maryland local candidates will be considered. The interview is in person. Requirements: - 13+ years of software development experience (or a Master's degree + 5 years, or a Bachelor's degree + 7 years) - Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance - Strong Node.js, Express and Knex with RESTful API design - Strong React and Redux with TypeScript - PostgreSQL and PL/SQL - CI/CD and containers: Jenkins, OpenShift, Docker and SonarQube - Section 508 / WCAG accessibility standards - Agile and test-driven development (TDD) Preferred: - Jest or Mocha testing frameworks - AWS, Redis, SOLR and NGINX
